Brian G. Albert, Managing Director

Brian Albert brings to CEA a broad-based background in real estate development, transactional law, finance and corporate strategy. He has developed multi-family rental and single-family home ownership projects with a Los Angeles non-profit affordable housing firm. At the other end of the development spectrum, he built expertise in real estate and complex financial transactions serving some of Wall Street's most sophisticated investment managers at a top-tier New York City law firm. Representative clients included George Soros' Quantum Realty Fund, Leon Black's Apollo Advisors and international banking institutions such as San Paolo IMI Bank and Bayerische Landesbank. After leaving New York City, he undertook the role of General Counsel for a fast growing networking technology firm in Santa Clara. While working in dual legal and executive capacities, he has overseen the company's expansion to over $20 million in annual revenue. Mr. Albert also serves as principal outside counsel to the Mission Economic Development Association, a community-based non-profit organization promoting economic development in the Mission District of San Francisco. Mr. Albert received a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and an A.B. from the University of California at Berkeley in Urban Anthropology.
